Grandma Tott's brown sugar pudding

🥘 Ingredients

• baking powder
  2 tsp
• brown sugar
  1 c
• butter
  2 tbsp
• dates (chopped)
  1/2 c
• flour
  1 c
• sugar
  1/2 c
• water
  2.5 c

   Boil brown sugar and water for ⏱️ 10 minutes .

   brown sugar: 1 c, water: 2 c

   Add butter to the syrup and put in a greased baking dish.

   butter: 2 tbsp

   Combine sugar , flour , baking powder , and water .

   sugar: 1/2 c, flour: 1 c, baking powder: 2 tsp, water: 1/2 c

   Add dates (chopped) .

   dates (chopped): 1/2 c

   Pour the batter into the hot syrup. Do not stir.

   Bake at 375-400 degrees for ⏱️ 25 minutes .

   Serve warm with whipped cream.
